Find your Cozi calendar link

Weave imports your Cozi calendar from its published (iCal) link. Here's how to find that link and paste it in. It takes about a minute, and Weave only reads the calendar, nothing is changed in Cozi.

Get your link from Cozi

The published link lives in Cozi's web app, not the phone app, so this is easiest on a computer.

  1. Go to cozi.com and sign in.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Find the Calendar settings and look for the option to publish or share your calendar as an iCal (also called ICS) link.
  4. Turn publishing on if it isn't already, then copy the link.

A valid link starts with https:// and points at Cozi, usually looking something like: 

https://rest.cozi.com/api/ext/.../icalendar/feed/feed.ics

It should be a long, read-only web address. If what you copied is just an email address or a short invite code, that isn't the calendar link, keep looking for the iCal / publish option.

Paste it into Weave

  1. Open Weave.
  2. During setup, choose Import from a link, or later go to Settings → Import from a link (Cozi, etc.).
  3. Paste your Cozi link and tap Import.

Your events land on the shared Weave calendar right away. We'll also suggest turning repeating activities into Threads and adding any birthdays and anniversaries to Celebrations, both optional.

Good to know

  • It's read-only. Weave only reads your Cozi calendar. Nothing is edited or removed in Cozi, and Weave doesn't need your Cozi password.
  • You can re-import. Running the import again updates events from the same link without creating duplicates. People you've added to an event by hand in Weave stay put.
  • Very large calendars import the first several thousand events; if anything is skipped, Weave tells you at the end.
  • Names on events. If a Cozi event starts with a person's name (for example "Emma: Ballet"), Weave assigns it to that family member and tidies the title.
